Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 13, 2026
Dinosat Inc. ("Dinosat," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at dinosat.com. We are the controller responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or contact us, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. Our contact details are provided in the "Contact" section below.
This Privacy Policy applies only to dinosat.com and the personal information we process through it and related communications. It does not apply to third-party websites or services we link to, or to the open-source software we publish, such as our tools on GitHub, which is governed by the license and any terms provided in its own repository, not by this policy. Your use of our website is also subject to our Terms of Service, available at dinosat.com/terms.
We collect only the information we need to operate our website and respond to you. When you submit our contact form or email us, we collect the details you choose to share:
When you visit our website, our hosting and content delivery provider automatically logs standard technical data for security and reliability, such as your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system information, the pages you request, and the date and time of your request.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not collect special categories of sensitive personal information. Please do not send us sensitive information through the contact form.
We use personal information for the following purposes:
Where the General Data Protection Regulation or similar laws apply, the legal basis we rely on depends on the purpose:
Where we ask for and you give consent for a specific purpose, we rely on that consent, and you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing that has already taken place. We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract, and only as needed to provide our website and respond to you. These include an email delivery provider that transmits contact-form messages to us, and a hosting and content delivery provider that serves and secures our website. We may also disclose information where required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Dinosat, our users, or others.
We are based in the Republic of Seychelles, and our service providers may process personal information in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those of your country. The Republic of Seychelles is not currently the subject of a European Commission adequacy decision. Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, including to ourselves in the Republic of Seychelles, we rely on appropriate safeguards, principally the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. You may request a copy of the safeguards we rely on by contacting us through our contact page.
We keep the messages you send us through the contact form or by email for up to 24 months after our correspondence concludes, unless a longer period is needed to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim. The technical data our hosting and content delivery provider logs automatically is retained under that provider's own retention schedule. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. No website or method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to certain processing, to request portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond as required by applicable law, and we may need to verify your identity first.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights; as noted above, we do not sell or share your personal information.
As Dinosat is established in the Republic of Seychelles, our processing of personal information is also subject to the data-protection law of the Republic of Seychelles, and we handle requests and complaints in accordance with that law in addition to any framework that applies where you live.
Our website does not use cookies for advertising or analytics, and we do not track you across other sites. Because we do not track you across third-party websites, we do not respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals; no such tracking occurs regardless of that setting. Our hosting and content delivery provider may set strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure and functioning. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, though some parts of the site may not work as intended.
Our website is intended for professional and organizational audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Our website links to third-party sites and services, such as our source-code repositories and social profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice on our website. Changes take effect when the updated policy is posted.
For questions about this Privacy Policy or to exercise your rights, please reach us through our contact page.
